In 2019, he relaunched its haute couture line, which had been absent since Oscar de la Renta's departure in 2002, in order to reconnect the house with its Parisian roots. Pearls were the predominant material of his edgy and futuristic collection. This ensemble's organza fins recall Pierre Balmain's creations of the 1950s. Opera glasses worn as spectacles and a bag resembling a bowling ball lend ironic humor and theatricality, embracing a camp aesthetic particularly rooted in the queer community.
