Acrylic Magnet: Convulsionists of Tangier - Delacroix

Minneapolis Institute of Art

From the Minneapolis Institute of Art: This acrylic magnet features artwork from Eugène Delacroix's Convulsionists of Tangier.

One day in Tangier, Delacroix witnessed the frenzy of the Aïssaouas--the turmoil of that event is conveyed in this vividly colored and vigorously brushed depiction of the fanatics hurling themselves down the street.
