Georgian Bay Pine 11 Paint Palette

From Beam Paints: Our favourite rainbow of colours in a larger size, 5/8 inch pans in a convenient pine palette handmade for travelling and having the rainbow in one hand! Palettes sealed with beeswax and made by Corbiere Lumber an Indigenous Forestry company in Mchigeeng First Nation.

About: Beam Paints was started by Anong Beam who grew up harvesting hematite pigments with her parents in the stunning natural landscape of the lacloche mountain range, near her home in M'chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. She learned a love of pigment and color from her parents, both artists, and eventually this knowledge of indigenous pigments was used to make Beam Paints--focusing on sublime color and biodegradable packaging. All the paints and packing are hand made: cut and sanded from reclaimed white cedar and birch, or wrappers hand printed in-shop with plant based inks and waxed with local beeswax.
